What the team published
The government team explains a model connecting reports, assessment, response, escalation and closure. It includes relationships between tenants, properties, investigation appointments and work orders, with information about hazards and household needs.
The article emphasises a modular design that can work with existing HACT standards rather than requiring every landlord to design an entirely new system. HACT and Data Futurists are described as taking the work forward.
At publication the model was a minimum viable product, with testing and an endorsement process still planned. The September 2025 workshop invitation is historical. This is a government delivery blog, not a rule requiring adoption of a particular data standard.
